ORDER :

Petitioner claims to be owner of land to an extent of Ac.2.01 cents in Sy.No.402/3 in Talavari Chenu and Ac.0.75 cents in Sy.No.403/6 of Dinnedevarapadu Village, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool District. While so, said land was included in the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A (1) of Registration Act, 1908. Aggrieved by the said inclusion in the list of prohibited properties, an application in the form of notice by the Advocate was made on 15.10.2015. In response to the said application, District Collector vide his letter dated 24.10.2015 called upon the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kurnool, to submit detailed report along with the proposals. It appears, in turn the Revenue Divisional Officer directed the Tahsildar to submit his report vide his letter dated nil-11-2016. Alleging in action, this writ petition is filed. 2.

The correspondence of District Collector's Office and from the Revenue Divisional Officer's Office are enclosed as Exs.P8 and P10. This correspondence would disclose that issue is pending consideration of competent authority. According to learned counsel for petitioner, so far no decision is made.

Having regard to these submissions and having regard to the correspondence, referred to above, the District Collector is directed to finalize the issue of exclusion of property claimed by petitioner as owned by him from the list of prohibited properties and communicate the decision by assigning due reasons in support of his decision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
