M/S. Gati Ltd., v. Union Of Inida And 4 Others
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NO.17537 OF 2019
O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner is that, without affording opportunity to file reply along with supporting documents, the 3rd respondent is concluding the enquiry initiated under Section 7-A of the Employee's Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, and though the petitioner filed representation dated 13.08.2019 seeking time, the same has not been considered.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Standing Counsel for Central Government for 1st respondent and Sri T.Balaji learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 to 5.
Since the petitioner is only seeking for grant of time for production of certain documents, without going into other merits of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 / competent authority, to grant 15 days time to the petitioner from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, for producing relevant documents as per its representation 13.08.2019, and take further action in accordance with law.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
