When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the grievance of the petitioners has been resolved. However, the petitioners are entitled for notional promotion and notional seniority. Therefore, the petitioners be given liberty to challenge the action of the respondents, if they do not grant notional promotion and notional seniority to the petitioners.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition is closed. However, the petitioners are given liberty to challenge the action of the respondents, if they do not grant notional promotion and notional seniority to them. No order as to costs.
