The petitioner complains against inaction of 4th Respondent in considering and disposing of his representation dated 02.08.2016 filed for mutation and online correction as illegal and amounts to refusing to exercise the discretion conferred on 4th Respondent. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue places on record written instructions dated 15.04.2017. According to the instructions, a few difficulties are noticed by the Department for acceding to the request of petitioner for updating the data and having regard to these difficulties, it is stated that, orders were already passed on the representation of petitioner dated 02.08.2016.

In view of the above, the statement of the Assistant Government Pleader is placed on record, and the writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondents-authorities to communicate the decision so taken to the petitioner within ten days from today.
