ORDER
This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A1, A6 to A8 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.142 of 2016 of Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 420, 323, 506 r/w 34 IPC, against them. 2.
It is alleged in the complaint that the de facto complainant fell in love with A1, who is the son of her maternal uncle and they married secretly in 2009 and leading marital life at his friend's room. Whenever the de facto complainant forced A1 to marry her at the instance of the elders, he was postponing and finally refused to marry her and all the accused abused her and her family in filthy language, thereby cheated her. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.
3. Since there are serious allegations in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the police concerned are directed to complete the investigation without arresting petitioners 2 to 4/ A6 to A8 except petitioner No.1/A1, by name, K. Chandra Kanth, and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioners 2 to 4/A6 to A8 are directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency. 4.
With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
