THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY W.P.No. 320 OF 2016 JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The assessment order is under challenge in this Writ Petition on several grounds. It is wholly unnecessary for us to examine these aspects as Sri K.Vivek Reddy, learned special counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would fairly submit that the assessing authority would pass an assessment order afresh, in accordance with law, after giving the petitioner an opportunity of a personal hearing. The impugned assessment order is, therefore, set aside. The petitioner shall appear before the assessing authority on 19-01-2016 at 11 a.m. for an oral hearing. The assessing authority shall, within two weeks thereafter, pass an order afresh in accordance with law, and communicate the same to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
