Heard Sri G.Rajesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A.Ravi Babu, learned Standing counsel appearing for TSRTC. With the consent of learned counsel for the respective parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage. This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief :- ".............Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondent No.3 in not considering the representation dated 12.09.

2017 submitted by the petitioner to compute the salaries of the petitioner from the date of medical retirement till the date of attaining the age of superannuation and to pay the differential amount after deducting the amount paid towards Additional Monetory Benefits and to provide employment to the petitioner son on compassionate grounds under Dependants Employment Scheme, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondent No.3 to consider the case of the petitioner son for appointment on compassionate grounds under Dependants Employment Scheme and to pass such other order .........." It has been contended by the petitioner that he was appointed as a Driver in the respondent Corporation and after rendering considerable length of service, he was declared as medically unfit vide proceedings dated 03.12.

But so far, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representation either rejecting or considering his case.

Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 12.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders. Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents contends that the representation dated 12.09.2017 submitted by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 12.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
