for the respondents-Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (the Corporation, for short).

2. The petitioner is a contract driver in the respondentsCorporation. He suffered paralysis in June, 2006 and thus became disabled to perform the duties of a driver for some time. He approached the respondents 2 to 4 and submitted a representation with a request to provide alternative light work for his livelihood and his family members. But, no such alternative employment was provided to him inspite of repeated requests. Obviously, as on today, the petitioner is neither suspended nor removed from duty. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that now the petitioner recovered from paralysis and is able to perform the duties of a driver. Stating so, he submitted a representation, dated 10-5-2015, to the respondentsCorporation to admit him to duties and the same is pending with the respondents-Corporation.

3. Considering the submissions on either side, the respondentsCorporation are directed to consider the representation, dated 10-52015, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
