HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.17739 of 2019 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the premises bearing H.No.2-92/25/A on Plot No.130, admeasuring 1,050 square yards situated in Survey No.11/31, Part of Survey No.11, Khanamet Village, forming part of the layout plan approved by Kondapur Gram Panchayat, Ranga Reddy District. She purchased the above property from one M/s R & R Infratech (India) Private Limited, who in turn purchased the same form one T.Aruna Devi, on whose name the present power supply and meter exists and after purchase, she made application for transfer of service connection in her name. The respondents refused to receive the application and asked the petitioner to obtain orders from this Court since the earlier owner got power connection after obtaining orders from this Court in W.P.No.6799 of 2018 on 13.07.2018,. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Heard Sri Harikishan Kudikala, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel, submits that the petitioner can file application for transfer of service connection in her name before the competent authority afresh and the competent authority would consider the said application in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file an application afresh for transfer of the service connection in her name before the competent authority and the competent authority is directed to receive the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
