THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY Contempt Case No.2208 of 2015 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The order, violation of which is alleged in this contempt case, is the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.35311 of 2014 whereby the respondents herein were directed to consider the case of the petitioner herein for promotion to the post of Hostel Welfare Officer Grade -II, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, taking into consideration similar orders of exemption passed in respect of employees in the social welfare and tribal welfare departments, and the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.5100 of 2014 dated 24.02.2014. By proceedings dated 30.12.2015, the petitioner herein i.e Smt. P.Sailaja was promoted as Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-II, and was posted at the Government B.C.Girls Hostel, Prathipadu. A copy of the proceedings has also been marked to the petitioner herein.

It is clear, therefore, that the order, violation of which is alleged in this contempt case, has since been complied with albeit belatedly. We do not, however, propose to take action against the respondents herein for the delay, as the petitioner herein has since been promoted and the order of this Court has been complied with.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
