Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner was appointed as permanent fair price shop dealer of Kothapalem Village, Rajupalem Mandal, Guntur District. Though the authorization of the petitioner was expired on 31.03.2013, he paid necessary fee through challans for its renewal from time to time. He was supplied the stock till May, 2015. It appears that in respect of the crime registered against Mallala Venkatewaramma, the name of the petitioner was also shown as one of the accused. When the stock was not released for the month of June, 2015, the present writ petition is filed. The learned counsel for the third respondent submits that there were proceedings against the petitioner in respect of certain irregularities that took place in the month of December, 2014.

The learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies received instructions, which do not disclose any pendency of proceedings. It is needless to say that the second respondent- Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntur, has to release the stock to the petitioner so long as the authorization of the petitioner is in force and valid. In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to supply the stock to the petitioner so long as his authorization is valid and in force. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
