Retired Revenue Employees Welfare Association, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh Rep. By Its Principal Secretary,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.15760 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard.
The petitioner's association is a registered association of retired revenue employees. The medical bills of the members of the petitioner's association for reimbursement in terms of G.O.Ms.No.68, dated 28-03-2011 are stated to be pending. The sanction for such reimbursement is stated to be pending for a long time, in spite of representations made by the petitioner's association to the 2nd respondent as early as on 21-07-2014 and the said representation is followed by further representations, dated 05-01-2015, 03-02-2015 and 27-04-2015. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that condition of some of the retired employees is very pathetic and that urgently the decision is required to be taken by the concerned authorities.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue states that the 2nd respondent will make appropriate recommendation to the 3rd respondent. Hence, it is just and proper to dispose of the writ petition by directing the 2nd respondent to examine the petitioner's representations as referred to above and communicate his recommendations to the 3rd respondent to enable the 3rd respondent to take further steps in the matter expeditiously, preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 05-06-2015
