THE HON,BLE DT. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.6753 of 2021 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/Al to expedite the trial in C.C.No.606 of 2Ol4 on the file of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderbabad on the ground that the petitioner/A1 is 61 years old.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A1, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respo nde nt- Sta te and perused the record.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the subject case is coming up for hearing.

It is apparent from the record that the subject C.C. pertains to the year 2014 and the petitioner/A1 is an old lady. Expeditious trial is a right. In the given circumstances, it cannot be denied' Therefore, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the subject C.C' within a period of six(6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, it is made clear that no further extension of time would be granted.
