The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of 6th respondent-Circle Inspector of Police, Abdullahpurmet Police Station in not initiating the investigation in Crime No.142 of 2019, as being illegal and arbitrary. Heard Sri Rapolu Bhaskar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents 1 to 6.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 22.08.2019, which is placed on the record of this Court, would submit that based on the complaint given to the 6th respondent, on 14.05.2019 a case was registered in Crime No.142 of 2019 of Abdullapurmet Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 427, 380, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It is stated that the police authorities took up investigation in the matter. After completion of the investigation and after obtaining permission from the 5th respondent-Asst. Commissioner of Police, Vanastalipuram, final report is filed before the XXVI Additional Magistrate, Hayathnagar on 21.07.2019 by submitting a notice to the complainant through DTDC courier.

Inasmuch as the grievance of the petitioner that the police authorities are not investigating into the matter stands readdressed, no furthers orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. However, it is open for the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum by availing remedies in accordance with law, if he is aggrieved by the final report filed before the Court below.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
