There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

The prayer of the writ petition is as under:

" For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Court may be pleased to issue any appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the third respondent in interfering with civil disputes and insisting the petitioner to come to the police station till the execution of the sale deed in favour of the 5th respondent's daughter, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of principles of natural justice and pass such other order or orders as this Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent is interfering in the civil disputes and insisting the petitioner to come to the police station till the execution of the sale deed in favour of the 5th respondent's daughter. The learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 contended that a case in Crime No.162 of 2013 under Section 420 IPC has been registered on 22.3.2013 against the petitioner and others on the file of the Police Station, Pattabhipuram, Guntur District and the investigation has been taken up by the Inspector of Police, Pattabhipuram. During the course of investigation, the 5th respondent and four others were examined and recorded their statements. In fact, the petitioner was arrested on 24.06.2016 and sent to judicial custody in connection with the above said crime. The said matter is under investigation. It is specifically denied that at the instance of the 5th respondent, the respondent-police interfered with the civil disputes and insisted the petitioner to execute the sale

deed in favour of the 5th respondent. In the above said crime, the investigating officer is the Inspector of Police, Pattabhipuram. As far as the 3rd respondent i.e. Sub-Divisional Police Officer is concerned, he never interfered with the civil disputes as alleged by the petitioner.

In the light of the said statement made in the counteraffidavit, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
