HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.17734 OF 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed aggrieved by action of respondents 3 and 4 in calling the petitioner to the police station and pressurizing him to compromise with respondent No.5 in civil disputes.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions, wherein it is stated as under: "It is submitted that in fact basing on the complaint of one Pathapalli Yellaiah, who is respondent No.5 in the present writ petition, a case was registered against the petitioner Mekala Sridhar in Crime No.144/2019, U/s.420, 506 r/w 120(b) IPC of NTPC police station on 15.8.2019. Wherein the petitioner is arrayed as Accused No.1.

It is submitted that the petitioner apprehending that a case would be registered against him, filed this present writ petition with false and frivolous allegations to bring pressure on the police officials in investigating the case."

Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedy against registration of a case in Cr.No.144/2019 on the file of NTPC Police Station. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
