Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner alleges that he got a lease of land in Survey No.7/1, vide registered document Nos.443/1999 and 651/1999 for a period of 99 years and consequently, obtained the confirmation letter to an extent of 208 square yards out of 364.59 square yards issued by the Revenue Inspector of Rajam Nagar Panchayat, Srikakulam District. When the said documents were filed before the Panchayat for fixing Vacant Land Tax, the same were not accepted by the respondent authorities and asked the petitioner to produce correct survey numbers. As such, petitioner submitted application to the Mandal Revenue Officer - 4th respondent to conduct survey and fix the boundaries. Alleging inaction on the request of the petitioner to conduct survey of the subject land, this Writ Petition is filed.

It is seen from the record that on 01.12.2016, application was made by the petitioner to the 4th respondent by paying the requisite fee and receipt to that effect was also issued by Mee-seva.

Since F-Line application is already made, the Mandal Revenue Officer is directed to examine the request of petitioner strictly in accordance with law and as per the guidelines of Commissioner, Survey Settlements and Land Records, Telangana. Such exercise shall be completed and suitable reply be furnished to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
