HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Writ Petition No.42262 of 2016 O R D E R :

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ or order, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not registering the F.I.R. basing on the complaint/representation, dated 09-11-2016 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to provide police aid to the petitioner and his family members. The learned Government Pleader for Home, on instruction, submits that the respondent - police have already registered crime No.274 of 2016 under Section 107 I.P.C. on 07-12-2016 based on the complaint of the petitioner.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
