Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for respondents 1 to 3. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 2.

The Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner to the police station to attend on 06.06.2017 orally without there being any authority of law, as illegal and arbitrary, consequently direct the 3rd respondent not to interfere with personal liberty of the petitioner including calling the petitioner to the police station. 3.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on telephonic instructions, states that the allegations made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition are all false and the 3rd respondent never called the petitioner to the police station.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent not to call for the petitioner to the police station except in accordance with law.
