W.P.Nos.16071, 16078, 16084, 16095, 16106 & 16109 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:

In this batch of writ petitions, the petitioners herein are questioning the action of the 2nd respondent-Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Hyderabad in not issuing police licence for the purpose of running Snooker Parlour.

2. A counter affidavit is filed, admitting submission of applications by the petitioners. It is further stated in the counter affidavit that for the purpose of conducting enquiry into the representations of the petitioners, when the police tried to serve the notice to petitioners, they refused to receive the same. It is further stated that the respondent police are going to serve the notices as contemplated under the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code, asking the petitioners to produce the following documents for the purpose of sending report to the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad.

1. Trade licence issued by GHMC (latest).

2. NOC from District Fire Officer (latest).

3. CCTVs surrounding area in the establishment.

4. Traffic point of view photographs of the business.

5. Establishments including installation of CCTV cameras.

3. It is also stated that the petitioners did not turn up till date with the above information and unless the petitioners produce sufficient documentary evidence as required in the notice, the respondent police would not be in a position to pass orders on the representations of the petitioners herein.

4. On noticing the said averments in the counter affidavit, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, that the petitioners are ready to furnish the information as mentioned in the

counter affidavit and the learned counsel has requested this Court to direct the respondents herein to take appropriate action after submission of the said information. The said request is not opposed by otherside.

For the aforesaid reasons and having regard to the nature of controversy, all these writ petitions are disposed of, directing the petitioners herein to furnish the information, as mentioned in the counter affidavit, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order and if any such information as sought is furnished by the petitioners herein, the same shall be considered and appropriate action be taken by the respondents in accordance with law, within a period of one week thereafter. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
