Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the writ petition, the 2nd respondent imposed penalty of Rs.25,000/- on the 4th respondent and also directed the 4th respondent to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner and also directed the concerned authority to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the concerned Information Officer, as such, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration. He seeks liberty to approach this Court as and when need necessitated. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, with the liberty sought for.
There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
