Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that in spite of his complaint dated 22.11.2014, in respect of cognizable offence committed against him on 21.11.2014 no action is being taken by respondent No.3.

3. Instructions of the learned government pleader show that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner by post on 03.12.2014, entry was made in the General Diary on the same day for conducting preliminary enquiry. However, petitioner is stated to be not coming forward and co-operating with the investigating agency and that if the petitioner cooperates with the investigating agency, appropriate action would be taken in accordance with

law.

4. In view of the above instructions, writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach the investigating officer to enable him to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action expeditiously. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
