The case of the petitioner is that he filed appeal on 24-01-2018 against the final seniority list dated 03-10-2017. Aggrieved by non-disposal of the said appeal, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that there is imminent threat of making promotions. Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the appellate authority to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24-01-2018 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any promotions will be subject to further orders in the appeal.
