HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 32864 of 2015 Order:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment as Academic Consultant (Zoology).

2. The case of the petitioner is that she has been continuing as Academic Consultant since 2011-12 till 201415. A separate notification was issued for the academic year 2015-16 also and an interview was held on 10.07.2015. When she was not selected pursuant to the said interview the present Writ Petition was filed.

3. It is admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the notification was issued only for the academic year 2015-16 and for the academic year 2016-17 a separate notification is issued. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the interviews were conducted for the academic year 2016-17 on 31.05.2016 and in that view of the matter the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is always open to the petitioner to apply as and when a fresh notification is issued for the post of Academic Consultant. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ___________________________ A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J Date: 14.06.2016 Nsr
