wp_45796_2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus for producing Singirikonda Naveen Kumar (hereinafter referred to as 'the detenu'), the husband of the petitioner, from the custody of the respondents. 2.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after filing of this Writ Petition, crime No. 67 of 2016 was registered by respondent No. 5 against the alleged detenu and he was produced before the jurisdictional magistrate on 28-12-2016. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) submitted that the alleged detenu was remanded to judicial custody by the jurisdictional magistrate.

In the light of the above facts, the cause, on which the Writ Petition is filed, does not any longer survive. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed, however, with liberty to the petitioner or the alleged detenu to avail appropriate legal remedies for the latter's release.
