HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.15404 OF 2018 ORDER:

Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not taking any action in Crime No.210 of 2016, Tandur Town Police Station, Vikarabad District, this Writ Petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent submits that petitioner is nothing to do with the Crime No.210 of 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is resident of the same locality where Crime No.210 of 2016 is registered i.e, Tandur town, Vikarabad District. In this case, it is to be seen that the petitioner has not stated anything about his locus standi in challenging inaction of the respondents in not proceeding with Crime No.210 of 2016. If petitioner is interested to raise the issue as Public Interest Litigation, he can do so, by filing appropriate PIL, but not by way of writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to institute Public Interest Litigation.

Permission is accorded.

Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty
