Petitioner's grievance is that no action has been initiated by 4th respondent on the complaint dt.27-08-2016 lodged by petitioner against respondent Nos.5 to 12, who have assaulted petitioner's family members.

Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4 states that Cr.No.43 of 2016 has been registered on 13-09-2016 by the 4th respondent.

In this view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to conduct investigation into the allegations leveled by petitioner expeditiously and file a final report in the competent Court. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
