Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
2. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering the application of the petitioner, dated 24.11.2011 for mutation of his name in revenue records in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.2.18 cents in Sy.No.365/1 of Pamuru Village and Mandal, Prakasam District, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and consequently, to direct the respondents to act in accordance with law for mutation of the name of the petitioner in revenue records and issue pattadar pass books and title deed to him besides furnishing adangals etc.
3. Though various grounds are raised in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the Tahsildar-respondent No.3 to consider the representation, dated 24.11.2011 made by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records.
4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue did not object for the same.
5. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing
the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar to dispose of the representation, dated 24.11.2011, made by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.2.18 cents in Sy.No.365/1 of Pamuru Village and Mandal, Prakasam District, at the earliest, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the same is still pending, in accordance with law.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
