This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking to quash the FIR registered against her in FIR No.104 of 2015 on the file of Raidurgam Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.
3. A perusal of the record would show that there is material, prima facie, sufficient to investigate into the allegations made against the petitioner/accused in the FIR. There are no valid grounds to quash the FIR.
4. In the facts and circumstances of the case and as requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Raidurgam Police Station, Cyberabad, not to arrest the petitioner herein/accused, but however, the investigation shall continue to its logical end and the petitioner shall co-operate with the investigating agency for smooth completion of the investigation.
