THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE N.BALAYOGI WRIT PETITION No.7051 of 2017 ORDER: (per SK,J) Sri P.R.K.Amarendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, fairly concedes that this writ petition was filed notwithstanding the pendency of O.A.No.388 of 2017 before the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad. The said O.A. was filed by the petitioners herein seeking declaration of their results in relation to the selection process undergone by them for recruitment to the posts of Police Constables vide notification dated 22.07.2016. Learned counsel would also concede that the Tribunal merely ordered notice in the said O.A., and aggrieved thereby, the petitioners filed the present writ petition. Unless there is application of mind and adjudication by the Tribunal, this Court cannot entertain a writ petition in terms of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India1. Ordering of 'notice' by the Tribunal would not qualify as either.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed on this short ground leaving it open to the petitioners to pursue the pending O.A. before the Tribunal for grant of interim/main relief, as the case may be.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
