HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.32446 of 2012 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner prays for a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not closing the rowdy sheet against the petitioner inspite of no cases are pending against him as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and also against Article 21 of the Constitution of and consequently direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home by filing a counter of the third respondent would submit that having regard to the good behaviour maintained by the petitioner, the rowdy sheet against him was closed on 31.12.2014 vide order No. HS-1/5260/2014. A perusal of para no. 6 of the counter reveals the said fact. In view of the above submission of learned Government Pleader for Home and also taking note of the averments made in the counter, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

As a sequel there to, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
