ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner as well as the learned Public Prosecutor.

The prayer sought in the quash petition is as under : This petition is filed by the petitioner to quash the proceedings in Crime No.651 of 2016 in PS Medipally, Cyberabad on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, R.R.District Court at L.B.Nagar.

During the course of arguments, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the Public Prosecutor that charge sheet in the above case has been filed. The Court below has already taken cognisance of the offence and numbered the case as C.C.No.877/2017. Therefore, submitted that no further cause would survive in the present criminal petition, since the charge sheet was already filed. 5.

In view of the above submissions, the present Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if he is aggrieved, as per law. 6.
