HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.15668 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not providing police aid to the petitioner and her family members from the unofficial respondents and their henchmen, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to provide police protection to the petitioner and her family members. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dated 30.04.2018 stating that basing on the complaint of the petitioner, case was registered by the 4th respondent vide Crime No.212/2018 for the offences under Sections 324, 506 IPC of Mydukur P.S. on 21.04.2018; that the case is still under investigation; and that as alleged by the petitioner, after registering of the above said crime, the petitioner nor her husband never turned up to the police station and gave any complaint regarding threatening by any person. Recording the aforesaid statement made by the learned Assistant Government pleader, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make fresh complaint, if she receives any threats. On such complaint being made by the

petitioner, the competent authority is directed to take action, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
