This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking verbatim the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents for not providing police protection at the time of harvesting the fish in Ravirala and Gurampalli tanks in Verasamudram and Gurampalli Villages respectively inspite of the letter of 3rd respondent vide.

Lr.No.25/C/2018 dt:08.03.2018 is bad, arbitrary, contrary to all cannons of law and also offends Art.14, 19 & 21 of the Constitution of India." 2.

I have heard the submissions of Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioner, of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4; and, of the learned Government Pleader for Fisheries (TG), appearing for the 5th respondent. I have perused the material record. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if police protection is given at the time of harvesting the fish, as sought for in the writ petition, the grievance of the writ petitioner stands redressed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that if the date and time of harvesting the fish are communicated to the police officer by way of a representation, necessary action will be taken having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case. 5.

Learned Government Pleader for Fisheries and the learned counsel for the petitioner bring to the notice of this Court the

contents of the letter, dated 08.03.2018, addressed by the District Fisheries Officer, Ranga Reddy District i.e., 5th respondent to the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chowdarigudem Police Station i.e., 4th respondent whereby, a request was made to give police protection to the members of the petitioner society.

Having regard to the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of reserving liberty to the writ petitioner to submit a representation to the 4th respondent by mentioning the date and time of harvesting of the fish in the subject tanks, with a request for providing police protection for the desired purpose. It is made clear that on the petitioner society making such a representation, the 4th respondent shall provide the necessary police protection for the desired purpose, without fail. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
