This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.211 of 2010 on the file of the Station House Officer, Prattipadu Police Station, East Godavari District, registered under Sections 427, 506 read with 34 IPC and 109 IPC and 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the purpose of filing the criminal petition becomes infructuous.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
