HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1201 of 2019 ORDER:

Heard the petitioner as well as the contemnor, who appeared in-person. The present contempt case is filed for non-compliance of the orders passed by this Court in Crl.R.C.No.2343 of 2013 dated 10.04.2017 for non-payment of Rs.4,50,000/- within the time stipulated in the order. During the course of hearing, the contemnor/respondent agreed to pay the balance amount in compliance with the above said orders passed by this Court. Accordingly, the contemnor today placed a banker's cheque bearing No.180466 dated 17.09.2019 for a sum of Rs.4,50,000/- drawn at State Bank of India, Habsiguda, Hyderabad, in favour of the petitioner and the same has been handed over to the petitioner in the open Court. In receipt of the same, the petitioner has issued a receipt dated 18.09.2019 to the effect that a sum of Rs.4,50,000/- is received towards compensation amount in compliance with the orders referred supra. The Xerox copy of the banker's cheque as well as the receipt is filed and the same is made part of the record.

In view of the compliance of the orders passed in Crl.R.C.No.2343 of 2013 dated 10.04.2017, this Court is of the opinion that the contempt proceedings initiated against the contemnor have to be withdrawn. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. ___________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 16.09.2019.
