HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.5076 OF 2019 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') is filed by the petitioner - accused No.5 viz., Vadla Anjaneyulu Chary, seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.144 of 2019 dated 14.07.2019 of Chevella Police Station, Cyberabad District, Telangana, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 504, 147 and 148 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. Heard Sri P. Srihari Nath, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, and perused the material on record.
3. The allegations against the petitioner are that he along with others armed with rods, bats and sticks attacked one Yerra Janardhan, brother of the de facto complainant, abusing him in filthy language and beat him with an intention to kill him.
5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court concerned within a fortnight from today and move an application for bail. On filing such an application, the trial Court shall dispose of the same in accordance with law on the same day. Till fortnight, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
6. With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the criminal petition stand closed.
