ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a writ of Mandamus to call for the records relating to and in connection with the promotion of Assistant 'B's to the post of Assistant Officer in NRSA declare the action of the respondents in not promoting the petitioner by specifically appointing rank juniors to the petitioner in the clear vacancy from time to time since 1990 ignoring the claim of the petitioner to the said post as bad, illegal and violative of Articles 14, and 16 of the Constitution of India and principals of natural justice"

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Naymathullah, Advocate, who was appointed as Amicus Curie, submitted that since the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
