Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleaders for Prohibition & Excise and Home appearing for the respondents.
A perusal of the material available on record discloses that, for redressal of his grievance, petitioner herein submitted an application before the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, Mahabubnagar-second respondent herein on 20.02.2018 but no action has been taken so far, despite lapse of considerable length of time, and, due to the said inaction, petitioner herein is suffering irreparable loss and hardship. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleaders and, in the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, Mahabubnagar-second respondent herein to verify the said representation, dated 20.02.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
