CVNR, J & GSP, J WP 15296/2018 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of habeas corpus directing the respondents Police to produce the petitioner's minor daughter (for short, "the alleged detenue") from the illegal custody of respondent Nos.7 to 9.

At the hearing, the Police have produced the alleged detenue before the Court. She admitted that she has not become major. The learned Assistant Government Pleader representing the learned Advocate General (AP) submitted that a case has been registered against respondent No.7 for kidnapping minor girl and marrying her and that he is in judicial remand.

In the light of the fact that the alleged detenue is a minor, her custody is handed over to the petitioner, who is present in the Court.
