Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner's grievance in this writ petition is only with respect to non-consideration of the revision petition or the stay petition, dated 22.6.2015, pending before respondent No.2, which was made over to the Joint Collector, East Godavari District, Kakinada.

3. The said revision petition is filed by the petitioner against the order of respondent No.3 - the Revenue Divisional Officer, Peddapuram, East Godavari District in D.Dis.(D).No.2998/2014, dated 02.05.2015, confirming the proceedings, dated 12.8.2014, of respondent No.4 - the Tahsildar, Jaggampeta, East Godavari District for not granting pattadar pass book and title deed to the land in an extent of Ac.09.19 cents in R.S.No.61 (Old Sy.No.455) situated at Ramavaram Village and Grampanchayat of Jaggampeta Mandal, East Godavari District. The order of the appellate authority shows that the same was not adjudicated on merits as the petitioner was not present on the dates of hearing and accordingly, the said proceedings in the nature of appeal were closed. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner has filed the revision petition and a stay petition.

4. Keeping in view the nature of the order passed by respondent No.3 and the scope of the revisional authority, in my view, it would be appropriate to direct the Joint Collector, East Godavari District, Kakinada, before whom the said revision petition and stay petition were stated to have been made over, to issue notice to the parties in the revision petition and the stay petition, fix an early date for hearing of the revision petition and the stay petition and pass appropriate orders at least to the extent of stay petition preferably within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
