This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitionerAccused to quash the proceedings against them in FIR No.90 of 2022 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Haliya (Alwal) Police Station, Nalgonda District. The offences alleged against them are under Section 306 of IPC.

Heard both sides.

The case against the petitioner is that he had called the deceased on phone and asked to return the amounts due which were collected for the purpose of drip line. Even according to the complaint, money was collected by one Nagaraju and deceased who was arrested and sent to judicial remand in crime No.51 of 2022. The allegation against this petitioner is that he made a phone call and threatened to return the amount which was collected.

Prima face, it appears that there is no abatement or instigation for committing suicide for which reason, the police are directed not to arrest the petitioner and conclude the investigation. Further, the petitioner shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer by furnishing information and documents as sought by him in concluding the investigation. 5.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed off. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
