This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a Writ of Mandamus or other appropriate order or direction in the nature of a writ declaring G.O.Rt.No.4182 General Administration (Poll.D) Department dated 19.07.2007 as arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and Sections 24 and 199 of Code of Criminal Procedure and rules framed by the Bar Council of India relating to Restrictions on Senior Advocates in exercise of power under the Advocates Act and consequently quash C.C.No.23 of 2007 on the file of the Hon'ble VI Addl.

Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Secunderabad in the interest of justice."

When the matter is called, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the issue insofar as challenging the aforesaid G.O., is concerned, the same is squarely covered by the order, dated 22.6.2015, in W.P.No.3309 of 2008 of this Court. 3.

Following the order, dated 22.6.2015, in W.P.No.3309 of 2008 of this Court, G.O.Rt.No.4182, General Administration (Poll.D) Department, dated 19.07.2007, is hereby set aside. 4.

Insofar as the prayer relating to quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.23 of 2007 on the file of the VI Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Secunderabad is concerned, the same is rejected, as the same has to be decided separately.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is partly allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
