This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ, order or direction, particularly, in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.2 in issuing proceedings No.SAAP/E&L/FMC/2012, dated 01.12.2012, thereby handing over the charge to respondent No.4, and the Notification, dated 04.01.2013, of respondent No.8 as illegal and arbitrary.

2. When the matter is taken up, it is represented by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.3 - Club that the petitioner died on 17.9.2013. The cause in the writ petition is personal to the petitioner, as he is a permanent member of the Club. Consequent to the death of the petitioner, the cause in this writ petition does not survive and so, the question of third parties prosecuting the case of the petitioner does not arise.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. However, it is always open to the members of respondent No.3 - Club to prosecute their grievance, if any, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
