HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6511 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 and A2 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.97 of 2012 on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Khammam, registered for the offences under Sections 18(a)(i) and 18B of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the case status of the lower court and submitted that the case has been disposed of on 12.09.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.97 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
