THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 26004 OF 2010 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings dated 08.10.2010, passed by the 2nd respondent wherein and whereby the licence issued to the petitioner under Explosives Act for carrying on the business of storing and selling fire crackers, was suspended as an interim measure and petitioner was also advised to show cause within ten days as to why his suspension of licence should not be confirmed by the licensing authority. This Court on 27.10.2010 granted interim suspension of operation of the impugned order.

Since interim order is in operation for the last 9 years, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition can be disposed of granting liberty to the respondents to conduct enquiry. Since already show cause notice is issued, it is open for the petitioner to submit explanation, if not already submitted, and basing on the explanation the respondents to consider the same and pass final orders. Till then, interim order granted by this Court continues. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
