THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.41091 OF 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent No.3 in not taking any Investigation in Crime No.198 of 2016 as per the guidelines of this Court in Money Laundering and T.S. Chit Fund Act vide W.P.No.20883 of 2016, dated 28.06.2016, as arbitrary, illegal and consequently, to direct the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation in the aforesaid crime.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.3 registered the aforementioned crime for the offences under Sections 420, 504 and 506 I.P.C. and though he is having sufficient evidence, he is not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondent No.3 is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.198 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
