This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to declare the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not registering the petitioner's report, dated 03.06.2017, as First Information Report as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct respondent No.3 to register the said report as F.I.R.

In view of the representation made by the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) that a case in Crime No.108 of 2017 on the file of II Town Police Station, Srikakulam Town, Srikakulam District was registered on the basis of the report, dated 03.06.2017, of the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
