Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned standing counsel appearing for the second respondent Municipality.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue appropriate Writ or order or direction mostly one which is in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the Proceedings ROC No.A1/1121/2007 dated 14/3/2008 of the second respondent and the demand of payment of property tax from the petitioner society as illegal, contrary to the provisions of AP Municipalities Act, arbitrary, unjustified, unreasonable and sustainable and set aside the said proceedings by holding that the 2nd respondent is not entitled to charge any property tax on the buildings of the petitioner and pass such other order or orders as it may deem fit.' 3.

Learned standing counsel for the second respondent Municipality informed the Court that the subject issue in the writ petition has already been resolved and the petitioner's society is paying property taxes and in fact the property tax has been paid till 2017. 4.

Therefore, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to closed. 5.
