Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following prayer: "to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly, one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondent No.5' herein in not providing Police Protection to the petitioners and their properties i.e., Plot No:37 and 52, admeasuring 400 sq. yards, Plot No.53 (Part) (south Side) admeasuring 150 sq. yards, Plot No.16, admeasuring 200 sq. yards, Plot No.41, admeasuring 225 sq. yards, Plot No.35, admeasuring 200 sq. yards, Plot No.36 (Part) (South Side), admeasuring 100 sq. yards out of 200 sq. yards and Plot No.37 (Part) (North Side), admeasuring 50 sq. yards out of 200 sq. yards and Plot No.18, admeasuring 225 sq. yards in Survey No.100 and revised Survey No.
100-B situated at Nizampet Village and Gram Panchayat, Quthbullapur Mandal, Rangareddy DistriCt as illegal, irrational, arbitrary, discriminatory and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 5 to provide forthwith police protection to the petitioners in respect of their house plots and also direct the respondents 6 86 7 not to interfere with our possession and enjoyment of their respective house plots in terms of temporary injunction decrees dated 26-03-2012 in IA No.2312/2012 in OS No.1706/2010 and IA No.769/2011 in OS No.889/2011 on the file VIII Addl. Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District at LB Nagar."

When the Writ Petition came up for consideration, the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that Crime No.1008 of 2017 was registered under Sections 448, 427, 341 and 323 IPC on 29.07.2017 against one Rajadhani Shekhar and others and investigation is in progress. But, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in spite of registration of the crime in view of laxity of police, the unsocial elements are
ARLR,J wp_26140_2017 coming to site and threatening the petitioners. In such circumstances, liberty is given to the petitioners to submit a complaint/representation seeking appropriate police protection and on receipt of the same police shall provide necessary police protection to the petitioners and their properties apart from registering the above crime.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
